Advanced Learner Loans
You may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan that will cover your course fees. You can apply for all or part of the total fee. The loans are available for most learners aged 19 and over who wish to study eligible courses at Level 3 and above.
Once you have received your learner and funding information letter from the College Admissions team, you can apply for your loan online through the Students Loans Company. Your household income will not be taken into account and there is no credit check.
You pay back your loan (plus interest) when you finish your course and earn more than a fixed amount per year. Your repayments will stop if your annual income drops below that amount. Your annual repayment amount will be a percentage of any additional income you earn.

Note: If you are 19+ years old and studying your first full eligible course at Level 3, you may still be entitled to study for free. The Admissions Team will be able to advise further.
