Level 2 City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1
This is the highest level of F-Gas qualification and allows the holder to undertake work on any size of F-Gas system. This is four days in duration and will require assessment of both theory and practical aspects of the course. This course is not recommended for people who are unfamiliar with refrigeration and air conditioning systems, as no practical teaching is given.

Level 2 City & Guilds 6187-21 Hydrocarbon Safe Handling
This is a one-day course and is only for people who already hold a current CAT 1 F-Gas qualification. This course will provide you with the information required to work with flammable refrigerants safely. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge with a written paper and practical assessment to gain your qualification.

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (City & Guilds 6187)
This is a two year, day release programme for people who are already working in the industry. This course is delivered with half a day of theory studies and half a day of practical studies. In order to achieve your qualification, you will be required to demonstrate your competence with the completion of a portfolio of work place evidence. You will also be required to have two assessments on site with our NVQ Assessor.
This course will include the F-Gas qualification as one of the required units that must be achieved. This can also be done as an evening course 2 nights a week 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

Level 2 Diploma in Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems (City & Guilds 6090- 20)
This is a two-year, day release programme for people who are not currently working in the industry or not able to produce an NVQ Portfolio. There is no requirement for an NVQ portfolio but learners will be required to complete theory and practical assessments to demonstrate their competence. F-Gas is not included in this qualification, so will need to be booked as a separate course. This can also be done as an evening course 2 nights a week 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Cost: Depending on your circumstances and existing qualifications, this course could be free or £2,600. We offer the F-Gas course at reduced rate of £250 which requires a separate registration.

Level 3 Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (City & Guilds 6090-30)
This is a day release one-year programme designed as a progression on from Level 2. This course is recommended for people looking to progress into supervisory levels within the industry or those simply looking to advance their knowledge on complex systems. Most of your days will be spent on theoretical studies and assignment projects with some days set for practical assignments for electrical and the commissioning of complex systems.
