This course is designed for anyone interested in illustrative style artwork. It's suitable for beginners and those who want to further develop their drawing and painting skills. The course includes an introduction to equipment and materials, what you will need and how to use them. A variety of pen and wash styles and techniques will be explored and covered including mark making, sketching, loose and flat washes.
Please note, this course is taught in a variety of locations.
There are no formal entry requirements to join this course.
Classes are three hours long and will be held over five weeks.
Your progress will be assessed by your course tutor through a variety of soft skills, including participation in classroom discussions, activities and group work and regular attendance.
You could progress on to one of the many art & design courses we offer, such as Creative Collage, Painting with Acrylic, Watercolour Painting and many more!

Living la vida
A group of visual arts, media and film students are back from a fabulous four-day trip to Madrid. Their visit took in the Ikono Gallery, a tapas meal at Fatigas Del Querer, a flamenco performance, the Prado museum, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and the Museo Nacional Centro Arte Reina Sofia.
