New Deputy CEO and Deputy Principal, Curriculum & Quality, appointed

City of Portsmouth College is delighted to announce the appointment of new Deputy CEO and Deputy Principal Curriculum and Quality, Matt Phelps.
Matt comes to the College following a well-established career within the sector including senior roles at Eastleigh College and Abingdon & Witney College. He has over 20 years’ experience of working closely with local, regional and national stakeholders to drive learner number growth, financial health and quality improvement. He has acted as a non-executive director for several commercial organisations, a Trustee for a Multi Academy Trust and is an active Board member on several advisory panels that influence and shape educational policy regionally.
Matt said: “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed the Deputy CEO and Deputy Principal Curriculum and Quality at City of Portsmouth College. I'm looking forward to playing a key role in re-establishing the college as a local, regional and national beacon of excellence and best practice over the coming months and years."
