Intrepid students en route to silver awards

Congratulations to a group of seven intrepid students who’ve recently completed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award assessed expedition.

They successfully navigated three days and two nights of camping in the New Forest, walking a route they planned themselves and remaining self-sufficient throughout.

Despite heavy rain on their third and final day they took it all in their stride – being described by their assessor as one of the best groups he’d worked with.

A big well done to Gareth Boyes, Izzy Cholakyan, Gisele Chow, Mehek Rehman, Ellis Narey, Dan McGuire and Oliver Cunningham.

Duke of Edinburgh Awards are available to all students as part of our E6 personal development activities.
