Sweet success for our Honeypot Nursery team
PUBLISHED 20-12-2024
COPC’s Honeypot Nursery has achieved the Dingley’s Promise Mark of Achievement, reflecting the team’s passion and commitment to inclusive practice in the early years.
“All 14 of us completed five online courses to demonstrate our knowledge of working with children with additional needs,” said Nursery Manager Cathy Roberts.
Dingley’s Promise training is specifically designed to provide practical skills and knowledge to help practitioners support the growing numbers of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
The Honeypot team have already received a certificate. They’ll also be getting a window sticker to highlight their latest success.
Found at our Highbury Campus in Cosham, Honeypot Nursery is Ofsted registered and provides high quality childcare for babies and children up to 4, covering all the learning and development requirements of The Early Years Foundation stage.
In their most recent inspection, in June 2024, the nursery was declared 'good' by Ofsted. Their report said "staff are warm and attentive in the care they provide for children. Older children excitedly greet their key person when they see them, and staff reciprocate their enthusiasm. This helps children to feel valued and part of the nursery family".
